Any successful venture thrives on passion and purpose. After all, what we do in our life is based on some or the other purpose that we always strive to seek. I have met many people who aren’t sure how to figure out what they are most passionate about. When the idea of Ergode was conceived, we were sure what we want to do and what our purpose was. We were crystal clear about what we seek from business and what our company will deliver to people worldwide. Finding passion in your business is of utmost importance and if you design a business without passion and direction, your business will keep wandering with no proper destination to go. But often mistake most people make is build a business without a passion and purpose. This shouldn’t be the case. Even if your business is making money, it will suffer eventually. So, the question is how to find and strike on the passion and the purpose?
It all starts with permitting yourself to dream. Remember, you are the master of your life and you can choose to live just the way you want. This might not be exactly what someone would recommend but all you need to do is let your imagination run. Why do you think we were able to take Ergode to the next best level? It is all because we had allowed our imagination to wander everywhere to find out growth opportunities. Over time, we converted our vision into reality, and that is all that matters. Lupita Nyong’o has beautifully said, “No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”
Once you figure out your aspirations and dreams, the next step you need to do is a little more soul-searching to find out what you are genuinely passionate about. This time you need to look deeper within yourself. Look back on things that you really enjoy. This is how Ergode has grown over time. We have acquired and added some of the successful businesses across the globe, strengthening our portfolio. This is all because we could perceive our strong points and our passion acted as a catalyst taking our dream to the next level of reality. Think of the bigger picture. Many successful entrepreneurs have earned their place in history by setting out to make a difference in the world. Don’t panic even if it takes time. Some people find their passion easily, whereas some people take time. Look out for different sources and approaches and make an effort to learn as much as possible. Remember, you are the master of your own life and only you can permit yourself to explore all that the world has made available to you.
But how would you know you have reached your passion? I can only tell you about my experience. It didn’t hit me at once. Rather over time, I developed a sense of relief and commitment towards business and my life. That was when I was aware of what passion looks like. Everything progressed smoothly from that point. We were aware of what decisions to be made for the business and what strategies are needed to make the business grow. Once you find your passion, your business and your life would never be the same.
