If you ever asked me to describe ‘life’ in three words, my response would be beautiful, extravagant and challenging. While we work hard to ensure that we lead a comfortable lifestyle, challenges are what makes our daily life interesting and entertaining. Challenges can come in any form, the best way to deal with them is to face it head-on. To achieve some amount of success from these challenges also involves taking some amount of risk. If you’ve studied the life stories of successful people you will find two things in common, challenges and risks.
Putting Ergode on the world map was definitely a daunting challenge but we were successful in doing so because of the risks taken to get there. And the pay-off? We’re currently one of the leading e-commerce company that serves more than 5 million customers worldwide.

Just to recap on our origin, we had set up a warehouse in Mulund, around 1,500 square feet but within a space of a year, we faced spacing issues. With our growth increasing rapidly every day, the empty spaces of the warehouse started reducing. We knew, in order to make a statement globally and to pack a real punch we would need a bigger warehouse. But buying a warehouse in the city of Mumbai was definitely a daunting task due to the expensive price rates. It was a challenge nonetheless but we were adamant to find light at the end of a dark tunnel. We worked as a cohesive unit in achieving success from this unique challenge and VOILA, we were able to open up a new warehouse in Bhiwandi. The size of this warehouse is 7 times bigger than the previous one with a size of 7,500 square feet and was finally inaugurated on the 20th of August.
What I’m trying to say is that it doesn’t matter what the size of the challenge is, if you keep working at it, victory is inevitable. As the saying goes, tough times don’t last, tough people do. I would like to congratulate everyone involved with the opening of the Bhiwandi warehouse and just to quote a popular Shahrukh Khan dialogue, “yeh to bas trailer tha, picture abhi baki hai mere dost!”
