Let me start by saying that the world has seen a lot this year. We have all witnessed ups and downs this year with the worldwide lockdown. We have seen people and companies struggling to sustain such a dynamic and uncertain market place. This has changed how companies and CEO works. In a sense, every CEO across the globe is now a new CEO. Practically none of them has led organizations in such Covid-19 times where everything is undergoing rapid changes. I bet, there are not many CEOs who can convincingly answer the different concerns of the businesses across the globe in this crisis. We have to accept the reality that this pandemic has thrown at us and face the challenges with full faith and confidence. All we need to do is portray a genuine mindset that authenticates how to embrace the newness of everything which is going around.
When you start an organization, you along with the team are required to learn things quickly, adapt to the demands of your business, and provide a seamless experience to the customers. That is what we exactly did when Ergode was founded. In a new work environment, we might have a lot of questions and the best way to answer those questions is to explore and find new ways of doing things. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a number of questions at us and we have successfully answered most of those questions.

Ergode as an organization is continuously working on its plan of action as well as plan for continuity of addressing the changing needs of the business. There are uncertainties and the best practices to address these uncertainties come with a great degree of variability. We need to see how to calmly make any decision that can either enhance or sustain the business, especially in such dynamic and tough times. At this point, what is important is how to make the best decisions and learn from the crisis.

The pandemic has completely disrupted the way in which we conduct our business. Most of the organizations around the world need to have a culture that evolves them. No one can afford to be a non-learner in such a dynamic environment. The advancement in digital technology is shaking the foundation of most of the industries including the E-Commerce industry in which we operate. We all have to create a culture of learning forward that will help us to adapt to the changing business landscape and organization structure.
We aren’t aware till when this pandemic will be over. Right now, none of us can say or know what the future holds for us. But by acting urgently, making the right moves, and learning quickly, we all can be better prepared for whatever comes next.

When the chips are down, you can see the real grit and character. This applies to organizations as well. We have to give our best to everything that we do and keep strengthening the fight against this situation.
Ken Matos has correctly said, “The secret to crisis management is not good vs. bad. It’s preventing the bad from getting worse.”
