Getting Back to Business – The Return to Work Protocol

About six months ago we all heard of a mysterious virus that was causing respiratory disease like symptoms and today the whole world has come to a standoff. I know it is difficult to fight with something that we have never heard of, our whole life has changed and this leads to cause stress for everyone. We are also stressed and concerned about the safety of our Friends our Colleagues and towards the Nation as well and the effect caused by the economy fallout and much more.

We are happy and proud that we took early and necessary action to protect the health of our Ergodians and people associated with them as well that matters to us and that will always remain our top priority. However, post lockdown we must continue to take all necessary precautions for a much longer duration.

Once the lockdown is lifted, many of us will be resuming back to the office. But it does not mean life will be back to normal immediately. We will still have to be cautious, maybe take more precautions than before and ensure that others around us do the same. Lockdown has taken its toll on both individuals and business enterprises, and many of us are feeling eager to return to normal, or at least a “New Normal” since the Covid-19 lockdown.

While it may be little difficult to adjust resuming office after this pandemic, but it’s vital and mandatory to return to office with an abundance of caution. And by that I mean we all need to adopt some new work habits and we trust you to help your team members adjust as smoothly as possible.

I would like to inform all Ergodians that before reopening our office after Lock down all the safety measures, proper sanitation and disinfection guidelines will be taken care of. While personal hygiene plays a vital role in preventing the virus from spreading.

We will be giving a reasonable period of notice for those employees as to when you are expected to return to ‘normal’ work conditions. We know many will need to plan for childcare or adjust working hours if schools have reopened please be rest assured we are here to help. For rest of the employees we will be making different batches or groups (You will get the details from HR) and employees are requested to come to office as per the batches when they are called.

We had and we will make sure that your return to the workplace is smooth, safe and positive. My request to my Ergode Family please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. This phase will also pass and we are going to get through this, together.
