We Are One

One of the most powerful instincts of human beings is the instinct to survive. When this instinct of survival gets triggered in an extreme situation, you get to witness an incredibly powerful force. The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered the survival instinct in a big way. As a result, we are witnessing this huge fight that is being played out. I am writing this with a heavy heart as the Coronavirus has wreaked havoc in most of the countries around the world. Being an eternal optimistic myself, I know that in this David (human beings) vs Goliath (Coronavirus) fight, the David would win for sure.

Irrespective of the caste, creed, religion, we are all in this battle together. The Government of each country is doing its best to curb this menace. Aiding their efforts are the corporate houses, various institutions, welfare centers, etc. Businesses and multimillionaire philanthropists are pledging their support. Most of the organizations across the world have given the option of work from home to their employees. The organizations are giving utmost importance to the safety of their workforce and ensuring that they stay safe and healthy.

From inception, I have firmly believed that my workforce is the strength of my organization. At Ergode, we have provided the work from home option to all our employees. The employees are doing a brilliant job and providing support from their remote locations. Even in a testing time that we have now, we want to provide a seamless experience to our customers. While doing so, we want to establish a harmonious balance between the services that we can provide and the safety of our employees.

The United States of America has been asked to brace itself for the hardest week as the deaths keep mounting on account of the Coronavirus. As I reside here, I am witnessing the mayhem that the virus has caused. I sincerely hope that the outbreak of this virus stops globally and our lives get back to normal.
