It is that time of the year again. It is that time where everyone is a bit chirpier and joyous because Christmas is just around the corner. This is the season where temperatures drop and trees shed their leaves and everyone hopes for a white Christmas. After a busy schedule that included Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I can finally enjoy this jolly season to the fullest with my family. Here in the States, every town is decorated with bright lights. One of the most famous Christmas street lights in the USA is at the Rockefeller Center in New York. It is a sight to behold even though we have seen it a million times. They have a huge Christmas tree with a public ice skating rink. People often look forward to Christmas morning when they can open their gifts with their families. You can easily lose yourself in the festivities and forget about your stressful life. But Christmas is not just about Santa Claus, bright lights, sweet treats or singing carols. It is also about showing gratitude.
What is gratitude? It is the quality of being thankful. It is the readiness to show appreciation. Being grateful does not mean that everything is rosy and wonderful around you. It simply means that you are aware of your blessings and are ready to appreciate and acknowledge everything you have. A lot of times we tend to take things for granted everything that is actually going well in our lives. The Christmas season is a perfect reminder for us to be grateful and appreciative towards those who have helped enhance our lives. The best way to celebrate the holiday season is by practicing the “attitude of gratitude.” I would love to use this space to show my gratitude towards those who made 2019 a great year for Ergode. We have had a great year which consisted of ups and downs. But the togetherness shown by my Ergodians helped us change the downs into ups. The way we weathered the storm during the busiest season of the year was really commendable. I would like to thank everyone who worked tirelessly during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This blog would be incomplete without the mention of the terrific work done by the team at VirVentures. Their sheer hard work helped us cross 100,000 feedback on Amazon. The order processing team continues to impress me with their dedication. To each and everyone at Ergode, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you guys. This season wouldn’t be joyous enough for me without you.
We are living in an age where we tend to forget humanity. The world might be advancing but at the cost of human relationships. Christmas is the perfect season to remember that humanity still exists within our hearts. A simple THANK YOU can do the trick.
Wishing all my Ergodians a MERRY and JOYOUS CHRISTMAS!!
