Successful Startups Don’t Build Overnight

Who doesn’t want to be flourishing and own a multi-million dollar organization? Well, the thought itself is so lucrative and dreamlike. However, while most of the people share the same feeling of being super successful, only a few make it happen in reality. People struggle to make their businesses thriving. However, most of them, halfway in the process, collapse and die. Even those organizations that display overnight success don’t get it easy. They face several challenges before finally finding their enormous break. It is, therefore, believed that any start-up or organization, for that matter, who has suffered the tide and time of challenges and has still survived healthy and prosperous for more than ten years, is going to stay forever.

Being on this rollercoaster journey of entrepreneurship now for almost twelve years, I have realized that failures are an essential part of growth. Having made all the possible mistakes and learning a lot from them, I am blessed that I have managed to achieve this success. But overall, one significant thing that I could understand is why a few of them make their way towards success and why a few crash midway.

One needs to be energetic, dedicated and willing to work for the long race. Many new companies don’t come up short; it’s just that their leaders give up way too early on their dreams. But there is much more than only a leader that makes a startup successful.

Compelling Idea or Product.

The primary reason why companies open up and shut down within no time is because of what they have got to offer to the market. If your idea or product is not compelling enough to serve the consumer or does not hold any significant need, chances are high that you might suffer huge losses. So, you need to analyze actively if your idea will work out or if your product caters to the current needs of the market. If the answer is yes, then go ahead.

Attention to Detail.

The startups that really flourish well are the ones where everyone is focused and have an eye for detail. A great idea and a strong army of leaders will not ensure that your business is a big success. While the concept may function if you choose to make it work for you, but remember that the leaders will only shape your idea into execution, the major work depends on you – to stay focused. You always need to supervise the functioning and business processes for fruitful results.

An Army of Strong Leaders.

While the leader is the pioneer who sows the initial seed, it takes a group of relentless, passionate and robust pillars who keep feeding the seed with the required nourishment and water to grow and bloom. These pillars are those who back the start-up since its inception until it has tasted success. In this case, I have been super blessed to have an apex team of leaders who stuck with me through thick and thin and made Ergode reach where it stands today. I firmly believe that a similar mindset is required to share the same vision. These are the core people who must have the skills and mindset to change whatever doesn’t work well, shift marketing approaches or industry if needed, and moreover, build the business from scratch, in case it collapses.

These leaders make the distance towards success even shorter with their collective and consistent efforts.

Well, if you have all three in hand as I do and you have sustained the tide and time of ten years, then keep working hard. No one can stop you from making it among the few who made their journey possible into millionaires.
