With no graying hair and just being in my early forties, if talking about life is a question, then it can all be brought down to my personal experiences in my journey so far. The other day when Vir, my elder son came running to me to seek help for one of his school projects, I was just left into a plunge of deep thoughts. The project stated ‘Explain how is your life wonderful?’ to which my mind and heart took a huge leap. Such a subtle question needed a subtle answer but did I have it with me?
Then it reminded me of my childhood days when the simple joy I used to find in the simplest of things around me was just so infectious to anyone who saw me. The same joy I and Ami, my wife, feel today when we see our three little kids playing and running around with utter joy and happiness. So how is it that life isn’t wonderful. After all, kids have that untold ability to find wonder in everything that life presents us with.
On the other hand, my beautiful Ergode journey continues to prove that life really is wonderful and if you embrace it with an open mind and an endless sense of wonder, not even the sky is the limit. Life is wonderful and it is this belief in this simple truth which has kept me driven as I have built businesses, raised both my families – personal as well as Ergode and embarked upon my many adventures. Embracing this sense of wonder and curiosity has resulted in some of the most exciting as well as challenging moments in my life. These challenges each bought their fair share of mishaps, hardships and a few lessons learned the hard way. But if I wouldn’t have embraced curiosity and see a challenge as an adventure, I might have written them off as impossible from the start. And the journey is still ongoing as the wonders of life are yet to amaze me in the true sense.
Working alongside the amazing team at Ergode and nurturing these three little kids at home has taught me that meaningful progress can only be realized when we all work together. We all are at the very beginning of life and it is an incredible blessing. It offers us with all the highs and lows, hardships, disappointments, and triumphs that will eventually make us stronger. However, by living it without limit, by continually attempting to make the best choice and by never losing that feeling of adventure and learning which one possesses, it will, in reality, be superb. Suddenly, I heard a voice interrupting the series of thoughts in my mind and it was no one but my little Veer still seeking help for his project.
And I realized that life is indeed nothing but wonderful.
